LASEROPTIK is a manufacturer of high LIDT laser optics and coatings from VUV to IR and employs more than 40 coating machines with 6 different coating methods. They include e-beam evaporation, ion assisted deposition (IAD), magnetron sputtering, ion beam sputtering (IBS) and atomic layer deposition (ALD).
Typical products are high LIDT mirror and AR coatings, thin-film polarizers, gradient filters, dispersive coatings like GTI mirrors, chirped mirrors and mirror pairs, attenuators, customized filters, metalenhanced coatings, coatings on crystals, fibers, viewports and space optics.
With a team of more than 100 people, LASEROPTIK produces up to 180,000 coated optics per year for laser applications in industry, medicine, space and scientific research.

Large Optics for PW Lasers
LASEROPTIK offers coatings made by IBS (ion beam sputtering) on large substrates up to diameter 550 mm or equivalent rectangular shapes. Coating designs can be optimized for high LIDT and complex GDD specifications, e.g. for Petawatt laser applications.
