CSEM is a Swiss private, non-profit research and technology organization (RTO) with more than 35
years of experience in Deep Tech development. We champion industrial innovation and aim to prepare
both industry and society for the future. In the field of photonics, we provide advanced
technologies and services from customized individual photonic components all the way through to
complex optoelectronic systems that find application in a wide range of fields such as health care,
telecommunication, or aerospace.
For this purpose, we design, develop and provide photonic integrated circuits (PICs), micro- and
nano-optical elements, opto-electronic systems, multispectral imaging systems, laser sources as
well as laser-based instruments.
