OptWare GmbH has been developing customized analysis and optimization solutions for the automotive and pharmaceutical industries for 20 years. Based on in-depth data management and AI, mathematical models are created for customer-specific planning tasks. The growing demand for holistic optimization can no longer be met with conventional algorithms, novel methods using quantum computing offer a potential solution.

An OptWare-internal research team develops hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. In ongoing R&D projects real-life use cases in the planning and control of metal-forming technology as well as final assembly conveyor-lines are investigated. Further work is focused on the embedding of quantum computing into the strategy, processes and IT of the customers.
