PULSED GmbH was founded in 2022 as an independent spin-off of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics under the leadership of Prof. Ferenc Krausz, the 2023 Nobel Prize winner in Physics. PULSED develops and manufactures phase-stable femtosecond lasers with pulse durations of less than one optical cycle and a super-octave-spanning spectrum at 2 µm wavelength.
