GW Laser was founded in Shanghai (China) in 2015 and specializes in industrial CW, QCW fiber lasers from 100W to 50kW and laser solutions (metal cutting, welding, cladding, heat treatment, and non-metal processing using 2μm laser). As an innovation-driven company, they set milestones: in 2017 introduced the first 3kW single-mode laser with M² ≈ 1.1, followed by the first active air-cooled 12 kW fiber laser in 2023 and 20 kW in 2025.
