Nonlinear Control Strategies transitions state-of-the-art academic research in microscopic many-body semiconductor physics into powerful software simulation tools. The SimuLase software facilates epitaxial design for 3D semiconductor growth, delivering key optical characterization and a cost effective fast-track to targeted edge and surafce emitting semiconductor laser designs. The company is currently adapting the SimuLase product to simulate quasi-2D Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDCs) including their sensitive optical responses to environmental influences. Built on the powerful Semiconductor Dirac Bloch theoretical framework, the SimuLase_TMDC simulation software delivers optical absorption/gain and photoluminescence for monolayer, bilayer and bulk TMDCs in different environments.
