Millpond is a manufacturer and provider of high-precision, metallic mirrors and tooling for injection molding of polymer optics. Our products range in size from a just a few millimetres all the way up to 700 mm in diameter. We are specialising in free-form optics in the sense that we are not bound by the more traditional spherical geometries but may realise optical quality surfaces that are not at all rotationally symmetrical. Such free-form mirrors find their application e.g. in the Automotive industry for development and test of Head-Up displays and Augmented Reality Imaging systems. Furthermore our optical products are used for Vision and LIDAR applications, in optical test instruments, in optical sensors as well as in lighting applications using LEDs or Lasers as a source.
