Concrete technology solutions for urgent medical issues - this is what 16 partner institutes and 3 spin-offs of the Leibniz Health Technologies Research Alliance are working on. Through an interdisciplinary approach to technologies with user benefits in the competence fields of point-of-care technologies (POCT), imaging methods, biomarkers, plasma medicine and bioactive materials, diagnostics, therapy and monitoring are to be brought closer together. This is done through ongoing dialogue with key healthcare stakeholders, including consideration of economic feasibility and acceptability. In this way, health technologies are created that are brought to market maturity along the innovation chain together with industry and clinics.
