Quantum technologies at DLR: from basic research to industrial application

Company profile

The German Aerospace Center conducts research and development in aeronautics, space, energy and transport, security and digitalisation on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. The German Space Agency at DLR is responsible for planning and implementing German space activities on behalf of the Federal Government. Two DLR project management organisations oversee funding programmes and support knowledge transfer.

As part of the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative, DLR develops quantum computers, the necessary enabling technologies and applications, and thus shapes the quantum computing ecosystem in Germany and Europe. At the World of Quantum, the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative will be exhibiting its first two quantum computers for the first time.
