DOWA ELECTRONICS MATERIALS is a manufacturer of semiconductor material in Japan.

We manufacture LED across UV LED (308 - 340nm), red, NIR, SWIR (1040 - 2300nm), MWIR (3.1 - 4.2um) wavelengths, InGaAs PIN Photodiodes, and laser-grade GaAs substrates.

We have developed SWIR LEDs based on its proprietary crystal growth and processing technologies, resulting in the world’s highest output power LED chip in the peak wavelength range of 1,200 to 1,900 nm. Our SWIR LEDs are well suited for light source of imaging sensor that is used for semiconductor material inspection, plastic and food sorting.

Our GaAs substrates are used in wide range of electronics devices such as high-output LD, VCSEL, micro LEDs and display LEDs.
Our unique Ga material flow such as recycling and in-house raw material makes us stable supply.

One of our advantages is that the semiconductor products are manufactured in Akita, Japan and we offer consistent products from GaAs substrates through LED.
