Beijing NED Ltd., founded in 2015 by a team of doctors from University of Arizona, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. NED has applied for over 200 patents, including more than 30 PCT patents, participated in the formulation of two Chinese national standards for VR HMD. The company masters core technologies, including freeform prism, birdbath, pancake and waveguide, has build close loop from design, manufacture, assembly and testing, and has become one of the leading AR/VR optical module suppliers worldwide.
